Personal Data Protection Notice
Information text prepared under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
As Technic Safety, we have prepared this information text to explain how your personal data is processed under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). It has been drawn up in line with Article 10 of the KVKK and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Responding to enquiries about our LOTO (lockout/tagout) products and services
- Preparing quotations and carrying out order and sales processes
- Managing customer relations and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Planning and delivering our training and consultancy services
- Providing the LOTO software service and technical support
- Fulfilling legal and regulatory requirements
- Carrying out finance and accounting operations
- Operating information security processes
- Maintaining and improving the functionality of our website
- Conducting communication activities
4. Legal Grounds for Processing
Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:
- Expressly provided for by law (Art. 5/2-a): processing that is mandatory under legislation such as tax and commercial law.
- Necessity for the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c): processing required for product sales, service delivery and quotation processes.
- Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç): processing required to meet our legal obligations.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 5/2-f): processing necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (for example website analytics and service improvement).
- Explicit consent (Art. 5/1): where none of the grounds above applies, processing is carried out on the basis of your explicit consent (for example marketing communications).
5. Transfer of Personal Data
In accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to the following parties:
- Authorised public institutions and organisations: where required by legislation, in order to fulfil legal obligations.
- Business partners and suppliers: for the purposes of product supply, logistics and service delivery.
- Technology service providers: for website hosting, e-mail services and analytics tools, under data processing agreements.
- Financial advisors and legal counsel: for the conduct of legal and financial processes.
6. Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected by automated and non-automated means, including forms on our website, e-mail correspondence, telephone calls, face-to-face meetings, training attendance processes and cookies.
7. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for as long as the purpose of processing requires and within the statutory limitation periods laid down in the relevant legislation. Once the purpose of processing ceases to exist and the applicable limitation periods expire, your personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the KVKK and related legislation.
8. Your Rights as a Data Subject (KVKK Article 11)
Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, as a data subject you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is being processed;
- request information if your personal data has been processed;
- learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used in accordance with that purpose;
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data is transferred;
- request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately;
- request the erasure or destruction of your personal data within the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK;
- request that the actions taken under items (5) and (6) be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred;
- object to a result that is to your detriment arising from the analysis of your processed data exclusively by automated systems;
- claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
9. How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise the rights listed above, you may use one of the following methods:
- Written application: deliver your signed request in person, or send it via a notary public, together with documents establishing your identity, to "Oruc Reis Mah. Tekstilkent Cd. A1 34 10/AU 102 Esenler / Istanbul, Türkiye".
- Application by e-mail: send your request to info@technicsafety.com from your registered electronic mail (KEP) address or from the e-mail address already registered in our systems.
Whatever the nature of the request, your application will be concluded free of charge within 30 (thirty) days at the latest. However, if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
